Coding / STEAM Instructor
Winthrop Arts has a need for a weekly instructor to teach a new class in the Spring (January - May). This is a weekly class for 1.5 hours that is taught after school at our location in Riverview (Winthrop). Instructors do not need to be degreed in technology or work in the technology field. However these candidates will be given priority. Candidates must have an interest in kids, teaching and STEAM. Winthrop Arts uses an off the shelf subscription based curriculum. Students will get a login for the duration as long as they are enrolled. Expectations for the teacher candidate are:
Maintain attendance records
Complete coursework with or ahead of students (so as to instruct)
Help design coursework (i.e. learning vs gaming)
Report planned absences in advance
Support Mobile Arts Outreach (as needed)

Ceramics Instructor
Winthrop Arts is in need of Ceramics instructor for our adults and kids classes. Ceramics is the most popular course we offer, spanning multiple nights and age groups. You must have a strong comfort level working with the ceramics wheel as well as firing our kiln (on-site). Candidates my inquire via the form below:
