How do I apply for the 2020 Festival?
Winthrop Arts has teamed up with Zapplication to make the application process easier for both artists and artisans. Use this link to apply for the 2020 Winthrop Arts Festival & Market. Zapplication is completely free for artists and artisans. If you are new to ZAPP, simply create a free profile, upload your images, and apply to the 2020 Winthrop Arts Festival & Market!
How much does the festival cost?
Our application fee is $25.00 for both artists and artisans. If accepted into the Festival, the participation fee/booth fee is $125.00 for both artists and artisans. Both fees can be paid through Zapplication.com.
Are there cash prizes for the 2020 Festival?
We are happy to announce that we will be giving away over $5,000 in cash prizes to our 2020 winning artists!
The cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
Best of Show: $2,500 cash prize
First Place: $1,250 cash prize
Second Place: $750 cash prize
Third Place: $350 cash prize
Honorable Mention: $150 cash prize
We will also offer two awards for Emerging Artists at $250 each
When can I apply and when will I find out if I am accepted?
We are accepting applications now! You may submit your application through March 10, 2020. We will notify artists and artisans on a rolling basis. The sooner you apply, the sooner you will know if you are accepted!
