Christmas Tree Lighting
On the first Friday of every December, Winthrop hosts the annual Winthrop Christmas Tree Lighting.
This year Winthrop Arts will organize the event and we invite you to attend this fun and free family event.
There will be live holiday music, performances by Winthrop Charter School Chorus, the Brandon Ballet and more! They'll also be a crafts booth to create your very own ornament for our beautiful community tree (or to bring home to your own!). We'll also have a build-a-picnic basket table for you, where you can create your own customized picnic basket of treats to enjoy during the movie on the lawn! All proceeds from the picnic baskets will go directly to Winthrop Arts. And all you have to do is bring your own blanket! We'll take care of the rest! And did we mention the free hot chocolate for the kids? There's free hot chocolate!*
